AirTran Holdings, Inc.(NYSE:AAI) announced today that they received a $1.4billion offer from Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE:LUV). The $1.4billion dollar offer was a 60% premium from the closing price on Friday.
Alberto-Culver Company(NYSE:ACV) received an offer over the weekend from Unilever N.V. (ADR) (NYSE:UN) for $3.7billion dollars
